PANDA PLAYGROUP
Panda playgroup is an established childcare facility that is OFSTED registered. We are celebrating our 30th year in this profession. We are a registered charity and run by an elected committee. Panda is also a member of the PLA (pre-school learning alliance).
We currently have six staff, four of which are qualified in EYFS
(early years training), one is CACHE level 2 in teacher training and the remaining one has began her EYFS training with us. At Panda we have on going staff training to enable all our workers to provide the best possible care for your child.
Panda sessions are as follows:
- Am session 09:00am to 11:30am
- Walk up 11:30 from Milton primary school
- Lunch club 12:00 noon to 12:30pm
- Pm session 12:30pm to 03:00pm
During our am and pm sessions we provide a stimulating indoors and out door area. 
There are lots of varied activities for the children to do and lots of things for them to explore. In our lunch clubs we promote healthy eating and ask that you provide your child with a packed lunch that supports this.
We operate a key person system to encourage the links between parents and staff, also using this person to build a positive relationship with your child.
We hold an up to date policy and procedure file, which is available to all parents on request. Panda pride themselves on being an inclusive setting. We operate equal opportunities to all our processes and encourage inclusion through visual and practical experiences.
Our setting provides the opportunity for parents with 3 and 4-year-old children to gain access to the NEG grants and receive 12.5 hours paid for by the government. NEG also is a big benefit to the group as we receive an amount of money to help purchase recourses and equipment needed. Panda also accept busy bee vouchers that are available from most employers.
